The Six Sigma Lean Green Belt Certification with Government concentration, developed exclusively for the Management and Strategy Institute, is designed to give the student a solid understanding of Lean Six Sigma principles and apply them to government workflows. Lean Government promotes the idea that government should cut out waste and inefficiency, which will result in providing better services and more value for tax supported necessities.
“Lean” skills are used throughout the government sector by both government employees and federal contractors. Lean Six Sigma helps make government processes faster, simpler, and less expensive. Many states now run improvement projects and have state employees involved in eliminating waste and inefficiencies from within the organization. These continuous improvement methodologies are particularly good at eliminating red tape and ensuring that any changes are implemented and sustained properly.
Six Sigma Lean Green Belts should have a good understanding of the DMAIC process and an understanding of how process changes can be implemented. Our Six Sigma Green Belt in Government certification exam will test your fundamental understanding of these concepts.
We also offer a Six Sigma Green Belt Certification and Six Sigma Lean Green Belt Certification without the Government component for those who do not want their certification to have an Government concentration.
