MSI signs the Pledge to America’s Workers

As a trade association focused on process improvement, the Management and Strategy Institute is uniquely equipped to help meet this objective.  The organization provides training and credentialing opportunities to thousands of Americans every year.

About Our Commitment

By signing the Pledge to America’s Workers, companies and trade associations commit to creating new opportunities for American workers.  “The Management and Strategy Institute takes this mission seriously and has worked towards this goal from its inception, making the pledge a natural fit,” stated Michael DiLeo, President of MSI.  “We are committed to helping working adults, especially those who are under-represented and displaced within corporate America.  We also focus a lot of our energy on helping Veterans and those transferring out of the armed services into civilian life.”
To underscore their commitment, the Management and Strategy Institute is committing to provide 10,000 training opportunities to American workers.  Over 5,000 of these opportunities, a full 50%, will be provided free of charge.  MSI does this through its Free Library Training programs and Displaced Worker programs.  They will be adding additional programs throughout 2020 to help support this initiative further.

The Management and Strategy Institute focuses its training and certification programs on the business skills that are highly sought within Corporate America.  These skills include process improvement certifications like Six Sigma and Project Management.  Certifications that are valuable to any organization that is looking to eliminate waste and inefficiencies.  “These programs can be a real value-add to both the company and the individual they are hiring,” stated Mr. DiLeo.  “All businesses are looking to become more competitive.  Organizations need people who understand process improvement methodologies so their organizations remain competitive and continue to grow.

What’s Next

Now that the Management and Strategy Institute has signed the Pledge to America’s Workers, they will continue with their mission to develop new and innovative training programs.  “Affordability and industry demand are two of our most important factors,” stated Mr DiLeo.  “We must show the business community that training and professional credentials don’t need to be expensive to be effective.  The old model of skill assessment is broken, and MSI is working every day to help fix it.  By providing not just a skill assessment, but the resources to help prepare for it, we provide more value at a lower cost”.  MSI is currently working to expand their offerings in the continuous improvement fields.  They are also developing innovative certifications within the areas of business management and leadership.

• 01/03/2020 – Pledge to America’s Workers signed.
  
  
• 01/13/2020 – MSI provides 658 free training programs and issued 522 certifications through it’s Displaced Workers program in first full week since making the pledge.
  
  
• 02/10/2020 – MSI has provided free training & certifications to 3,102 individuals since signing the pledge on January 3rd.  In addition, we’ve also issued 689 training & certification programs at deeply discounted prices.  This brings our total commitment achieved so far to: 3,791
  
  
• 03/08/2020 – An additional 2,897 certifications have been issued since 02/10.  Of those, 1,935 were issued FREE of charge through the MSI website and our partnership programs.  This brings our total pledge commitment achieved to: 6,688 of 10,000
  
  
• 04/02/2020 – MSI has now reached a total of 9,329 people with our free and discounted certification programs!  The Management and Strategy Institute’s commitment to the Pledge to America’s Workers has remained strong.  We anticipate that we will reach our primary goal of 10,000 training & certification programs by the end of April 2020.  At that point, we intend to further expand our commitment.  More news on this in an upcoming post.
  
  
• 04/30/2020 – WE’VE DONE IT!  The Management and Strategy Institute is excited to announce that we’ve helped 10,000 individuals achieve training and certification for FREE or DEEPLY DISCOUNTED rates.  This is an exciting milestone for us, and it comes at a critical time in our country’s history since we’re in the middle of the global pandemic.  Just because we’ve reached our commitment goal, doesn’t mean we’re done!  MSI is currently developing plans to expand our free training programs and commit to additional discounts.  More announcements coming soon!
  
  
• 01/27/2021 – A new administration is now in office and the Pledge to America’s Workers program has been completed.  That doesn’t mean MSI is stopping however!  The Management and Strategy Institute will continue to add new FREE and low-cost training and certification programs and make them available to those in need.  Not only in the US, but throughout the world.
